Berend Wieringa
Wieringa, Berend "Dutch" Born March 4, 1935 in Groningen, The Netherlands, died peacefully and passed into the arms of Jesus on November 11, 2009. His faith in the Lord was strong, and his love unwavering for his wife, Ann, and his children. He is survived by his wife Ann, his daughter Rose and her husband John, grandchildren Ryan, and Robyn, and 3 great grandchildren; his son Ray and his wife Donna and grandchildren Todd, Christopher, and Lauren; also his step children Eric, and Susan and her husband Richard, and grandchildren Sarah and Katherine. He is also survived by his brothers, John and his wife Micki and Andre and beloved nieces Sandra, Shelley and nephew Andrew. His God given baritone voice was loved by all who heard him, and his humor over life's circumstances never ceased. He was a much loved companion and friend. Any memorials may be made to the Hillcrest Church missions and benevolence funds. A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, November 16, at 11:00am at Hillcrest Church: 12123 Hillcrest Rd. Dallas TX, 75230.
