SALAZAR
MRS. KATHRYN KOUTS SALZAR of
Houston, Tx. went to join the Lord in
Heaven on Dec. 17, 1995. Kathryn was
born in Galveston, Tx. on May 4, 1923.
She lead a full life as an active member
at Foundry United Methodist Church,
life member of the Grocer's Union and
Weingarten Retiree's Group. Kathryn
Alice Kouts Salzar is the daughter of the
late Lillian Neimeyer Kouts and Oliver
Allen Kouts of Galveston, Tx. She is survived
by her loving and devoted husband,
David E. Salazar. Kathryn was
preceded in death by her brother, Robert
Kouts of Houston, Tx. Kathryn is
survived by her siblings; Herbert Kouts
of Long Island, NY, Kenneth Kouts of
San Lorenzo,. Ca. Shirley Smith of
Worcester, Mass. and Elaine Zirkle of
Monroe, La. Kathryn is survived by her
five children; Wayne Gillet of Dallas, TX.
Richard Gillet of Teague, TX., Ronald
Gillet, Janice Mayfield and Patricia
Creech Maxwell, all of Houston, Tx.
Kathryn is also survived by 12 grandchildren
and 16 great-grandchildren. The funeral
services were held on Wednesday,
December 20, 1995 at 3:00p.m. at Forest
Lawn Cemetery located at 8701 Almeda-
Genoa. The beloved Kathryn is missed
by all family members and friends. May
she rest in peace after a fruitful life and
live forever in the Lord.
